Once again the weather here is awful, gale force winds and heavy rain - I was awake at 4.30 am when the rain was pounding on my bedroom window, and so I got up, made a cuppa and watched the weather forecast, since I was planning to go to Harrogate shopping today, and possibly meet up with my pal Lavinia, but common sense prevailed! So I nipped out for some groceries, watched some of Create & craft, and Saturday Kitchen, then made some scones from Paul Hollywoods recipe(the hunk from the Great British Bake Off!), which he made on the Alan Tichmarsh show yesterday (I think they could do with 20 g more sugar if you make them) and then made a couple of cards - this one being a Mans card. I sent one of my tiny stash of mens cards this week, so thought I had better replace it. Have a fun weekend whatever you get up to x
