Mary Berrys Battenburg

Hi Ladies
I  hope you are all well and crafting happily away!  I don't know if any of you have been watching the Great British Bake Off, it was one of my favourite programmes, so tonight I decided to try making Mary Berrys Coffee/Walnut & Vanilla Battenburg cake.  I have never attempted a battenbug before, but it turned out really well.  I tasted the bit that I cut off the end - it is delicious!  No praise like self praise eh? hahahaha

My friend Sarah is calling tomorrow with her hubby & baby, so maybe they will test it out.  Have a fun weekend, I'm off to a surprise 40th party xx
