I got some promarkers from the Hobby Craft sale, and printed off some of the tips from Jak Heaths blog, but not too sure if I am doing things right lol. I got a blender pen, but not sure if it is a bit too dry on the tip? Anyway, I will practise some more! The orange & pink card is based on a color scheme I saw on Splitcoaststampers, using the Greenhouse Garden stamps, and the cards in shades of purple is using the Pocket silhouette stamps - again I saw the 'wreath' idea on Splitcoast, liked the colours, but personalised it with the heart shaped Martha Stewart punch. Anyway, bed time now - a play day tomorrow - Sarah (McCrossan) is coming over, and I'm sure to learn something new!! Happy crafting! x
I shall have to look at that blog. I just seem to be colouring in and not blending. I need more practice. Lovely cards though. Kathleen x
ReplyDeleteawww thanks - Kathleen. I wonder if the Alcohol ink blending fluid would work - if I can find some in my craft room, I will have a go later. Hope you had a lovely weekend. I had Sarah (McCrossan) over at my place today- we spent a lovely day in the craftroom, chatting and playing with my new scorpal board - makes fab little boxes, fancy folds, etc. Sarah is often featured in the Making Cards magazine, and is also a Stampin Up demonstrator. Have fun! xx
